Time to catch up on your sleep… and catch up with your life.

Positive Airway Pressure Therapy (PAP): Positive Airway Pressure PAP therapy is the most common and most effective way to treat obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and snoring, known as sleep-disordered breathing (SDB). FusionSleep® Center offers full service programs for PAP therapy, including all equipment and supplies, patient education, and long-term follow-up programs.

But, not everyone needs a PAP.

Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT): FusionSleep® Center offers Oral Appliance Therapy and comprehensive follow-up through its Dental Sleep Medicine Program. Board-certified sleep medicine physicians and qualified sleep medicine dentists collaborate to bring the best of both worlds to patients – medicine and dentistry.

Oral appliance therapy is an alternative therapy to treat obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and snoring, known as sleep-disordered breathing, (SDB). A custom oral device, used to reduce upper airway collapsibility, is worn in the mouth at night to reposition the jaw forward. The oral appliance, prescribed by a physician, is customized for you for maximum comfort and effectiveness.

Many people want an alternative to PAP.

Maybe you simply can’t tolerate PAP because:

  • It makes you feel claustrophobic

  • You dislike the inconvenience of traveling with it

  • You have financial concerns

  • You just can’t get past feeling self-conscious when using the PAP

  • You’re afraid that PAP is your only option

But are you keeping your partner up at night?
And, you feel badly about it, right? You want to take better care of yourself. Give sleep therapy the opportunity to change your nights and days.

FusionSleep® team has effective alternatives to PAP.
Our team of medical professionals has helped thousands of people find the right oral device and get on with living a healthy life. We can help you.

Inspire® Therapy: Inspire® is a therapy option for patients with moderate to severe sleep apnea and who are unable to tolerate PAP therapy. Inspire® Upper Airway Stimulation Sleep Apnea (UAS) is the only FDA-approved implantable treatment for people with Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). You might be a candidate for Inspire® if:

You have moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea

You are unable to use or get consistent benefit from PAP therapy

You are not significantly obese

You are age 18 or above

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: At FusionSleep®, we work with psychiatrists and psychologists to provide cognitive behavioral therapies in-house with Dr. Rosenberg and online to manage sleep issues that may contribute to insomnia, treating:

  • Restless legs syndrome
  • Insomnia
  • Circadian rhythm disorders
  • Narcolepsy
Patients learn how to change actions or thoughts that impede the natural sleep process and regain control of their sleep by developing sleep-promoting behaviors and thoughts.

Medication: Sleep medicine is one of the fastest-growing fields within pharmacology development. Every year, new drugs are developed and approved as therapies for sleep disorders. Recent advances in pharmaceutical research have led to the discovery of therapies for several sleep disorders:

  • Restless legs syndrome
  • Insomnia
  • Narcolepsy
Medications are also used in combination with other therapies; for example, in the treatment of sleep apnea. Our participation in cutting edge research allows FusionSleep® clinicians to stay on the forefront of this rapidly developing field and bring medication technology to the bedside as it is developed.

Blue Light Therapy: Light therapy is used to help treat disorders that result from a problem with the internal body clock. Disorders such as delayed sleep phase syndrome, jet lag, and depression are treated with light therapy.

Surgery: Surgical options are available, especially to help children who suffer from sleep-disordered breathing. At FusionSleep®, we work with the most experienced surgeons in the field to provide patients with the best alternatives in surgical care.
