Autobiography

This is an exciting time for Sleep Medicine! For years, many different areas of medicine have been peripherally involved in evaluating and managing sleep problems for their patients. The disadvantage was that sleep conditions were neither fully addressed, nor their impact appreciated on the overall health of the patient.

I am fortunate to be involved with FusionSleep at a time when the whole specialty of Sleep Medicine is just being developed. In my years of practicing Otolaryngology, I have seen the impact poor sleep has had, not only on the quality of life, but also on the quantity of years shortened by sleep-related chronic disease.

My goal at FusionSleep is to contribute my skills as a member of a dedicated team of providers, from several specialties, that traditionally have participated in sleep medicine as individuals. As a result of this collaboration, we provide a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis and treatment of all sleep disorders.
