clockThe one-hour reduction in sleep (or Sleep Deprivation) has been shown to have a lasting effect into the following week. Traffic accident data has shown a spike in traffic accidents in the spring when Daylight Saving begins. Perhaps not surprisingly, the opposite is true when Daylight Saving ends in the fall and we gain an hour of sleep.

The Answer is Simple: Go To Bed Earlier on Sunday

Daylight Saving is an important part of our culture. We gain an extra hour of sunlight in the evening so we can spend quality time outdoors with family and friends. Sleep is important for our overall well-being and reduction in our sleep time can negatively impact us. That is why it necessary to remind you of the upcoming clock-change and to suggest you act proactively to counter the impending sleep deprivation.

Go to bed an hour earlier this weekend. Don't be caught off guard. Depriving yourself of one hour of sleep can have a lasting effect.
