Dr. Jeffrey Durmer, MD, PhD, Medical Director of the Fusion Sleep Medicine Program spoke at the Georgia Psychological Association Fall Meeting on Implementing Sleep Medicine Principles in the Psychology Clinic. The GPA Fall meeting was held in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, September 26, 2008.

Dr. Durmer's lecture was part of a GPA Continuing Education course where attendees learned the basics of neural systems that produce sleep and arousal states, the identification of common sleep, arousal and circadian rhythm disorders, and the relationship of these disorders to patients encountered in psychology practice. In addition, Dr. Durmer's talk covered clinical cases, diagnostic testing, treatment alternatives, and the use of specific clinical sleep medicine tools.
