She joined the Fusion Sleep Medicine team in August of 2007 and provides patients with clinical care as well as close follow up for all sleep medicine treatments.

Autobiography

I have spent more than 20 years working primarily with patients who have chronic wounds. During my career, I have worked closely with underprivileged populations in our communities. I have traveled to Central America on medical missions to work with people in the jungles of Panama. I became a Nurse Practitioner in order to provide the highest quality of healthcare with an emphasis on continuity and communication.

My true love in nursing is the opportunity to provide my patients with the information they need to make their lives better. I truly believe that knowledge is power.

Teaching is in my blood, as both of my parents are educators. I also enjoy sharing my nursing knowledge and experiences by teaching nursing students at Georgia State University. I am dedicated to nurturing our next generation of nurses, as I will one day be their patient!

As your Nurse Practitioner, I work closely with Dr. Jeffrey Durmer to treat all of your sleep medicine needs. It is my commitment to you, as a patient of Fusion Sleep, to provide you with the best care.

Sincerely yours
Monica Beshara, RN, CWOCN, MSN, NP-c
