Obstructive Sleep Apnea can be found in all populations, but it is especially prevalent in men with Type II Diabetes, most of whom remain undiagnosed. Of the approximate 20 million American men and women who suffer from OSA, about 90% (or 18 million) have not been diagnosed. These individuals often develop insulin resistance, which prevents them from losing weight and leads to other debilitating health issues.
